For 18 months, I've struggled with a very personal Trial.
I knew it was an opportunity to learn important lessons that would help me to grow...
but still...it was oh so difficult, painful and discouraging!
I tried to remember God's words and the teachings of His Son, Jesus Christ,
yet, at times, I felt weak...
I was reading in the Bible this afternoon and was reminded of God's perfect Love for me.
I had to share some of those tender reminders...

"Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the Lord."
-Psalms 27:14

"Hast thou not known? has thou not heard, that the everlasting God,
the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth,
fainteth not, neither is weary?
there is no searching of his understanding.
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
-Isaiah 40:28-31

"Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me..."
-2 Timothy 4:17

"Have not I commanded thee?
Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed;
for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."
-Joshua 1:9

After Winter's cold & barren landscape, Spring is always a welcomed season of the year for me. I love the warm sunshine, colorful buds bursting from the ground, blossoms filling the air with a wonderful bouquet of scents, grass changing from a yellow hue to a deep, lush green. I love the look, smell & feel of life beginning anew...as if Resurrected from the dead!

It was this same time of year, when God's own Son was concluding his mortal Ministry. He would suffer in Gethsemane & upon the cross, freely offering His life for all mankind. On that 1st Easter Morn, the bands of death would be broken...

He Is Risen!
Christ The Lord Is Risen!

May we all accept His Gift and begin anew! Learning important lessons, finding happiness & joy in the present and looking forward to a new & hopeful future.

Happy Easter!

"Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
2 Corinthians 5:17
